About Journey Birth Services
Amy Borrelli, CD(CBI) received her B.A. in Sociology from Mills College in Oakland, CA in 1998. She married her husband, Ed, in 2000, and since then has had three children - Keith in 2002, Henry in 2006, and Caroline in 2008. Her youngest two children were both born at home with homebirth midwives. Soon after Henry's birth Amy began studying to be a doula and childbirth educator. In 2007, she became certified through Childbirth International as a birth doula. She attended her first birth in June 2007 and quickly realized she had found her calling. She went on to become certified as a postpartum doula and a childbirth educator through Childbirth International. In December 2012, Amy graduated from Ancient Art Midwifery Institute where she studied midwifery for four years. From October 2010 to December 2012 she apprenticed with Sunrise Midwifery in Pennsylvania. Soon after the end of her apprenticeship, Amy moved to Worland, Wyoming where she is currently serving families as a doula and childbirth educator.
